Paul Cattermole a member of the British pop group S Club 7 has died the band reveals the news on its Instagram page in a message to fans writing, “we are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul there are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel” the message continues “we were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have he will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us we ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time”.
Now no other details about the musician’s death were made public the singer was 46 years old the news of his death comes two months after the band announced plans for a 25th-anniversary tour which they sat down with BBC’s the one show to talk about.
“Now Paul if you uh started rehearsals yet how’s it going if you have we haven’t quite yet no we’re still sort of determining what we’re going to put in the setlist for the show and we would like our fans to let us know via social media just hit us up on the official S Club socials guys what sort of songs that they might want to hear we already know the classics yeah absolutely yeah but they might have an idea or two which would go hmm that interesting we won’t pay you for it.
the group was formed in London back in1998 by former Spice Girls manager SimonFuller, the pop group gained Global Fame after starring in their BBC TV series Miami 7which starred the band as fictionalized versions of themselves together S Club 7 released four albums selling 10 million worldwide.
